Discover Water has a handy tool where you can see the net operational greenhouse gas emissions (KgCO2e) per megalitre of treated water and treated sewage for each water company in England and Wales. While Welsh Water’s figures vary year on year, it will give you the latest figures. Simply match it against the consumption included in your bills to find out your water carbon footprint.
